| | While great improvements in the school system are being made on the governmental level, Burka Coffee Estates has made its own commitment to improving the accessibility of schooling for its community. At Burka, we offer free and on-site nursery schooling for our staff's children, and have invested heavily in our teacher’s development program. Further, together with a partner, we have helped to establish, construct and finance the Olasiva Primary School, and by own means the Olasiti Primary School, where together over 1,000 students are being prepared for secondary schooling. |

| | | | | Sports | | Great Fun And Excitement | | 
| | In conjunction with education, each estate has created its own soccer team. Inter-company matches are a source of great fun and excitement for the whole Burka community, and bring friends and families from all estates together. Each staff camp also has soccer and netball facilities. Further, the company gives free access passes to these facilities as a training ground for Tanzania’s top athletes, as they train for Olympic or other competitions. Burka wishes to make sports together with schooling an accessible priority for Tanzanians, who otherwise would not have access to proper facilities. |
